Context before strategy
We spend meaningful time assessing household or business context: income volatility, obligations, educational aspirations, and community support structures. Plans only emerge after alignment.
About Coreimpulses
Established in 2023, Coreimpulses focuses on the early years of behaviour change. Our one-year journey has been devoted to listening, prototyping, and refining pathways that make mindful budgeting a habit rather than an obligation.
The founding team observed that many financial advisory resources in Ghana either mirrored foreign contexts or pushed products rather than practices. We set out to craft a studio that listens first, then co-designs actions clients can sustain. The aim has always been to reinforce financial cores — the combination of mindset, process, and accountability that keeps obligations met and growth possible.
Our first year centered on listening sessions with salaried workers, artisanal producers, and young professionals navigating remote work. Each conversation captured real frustrations: unpredictable expenses, difficulty translating financial literacy into action, and limited encouragement for small wins.
We operate as partners rather than distant consultants. We bring clear frameworks while respecting that clients maintain agency. Eighty percent of our time focuses on clarifying, practicing, and adjusting; twenty percent on new tools.
We spend meaningful time assessing household or business context: income volatility, obligations, educational aspirations, and community support structures. Plans only emerge after alignment.
Data gathered during engagements remain under client control. We anonymise insights before adding them to our templates and ensure compliance with Ghana’s Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843).
We pair each activity with reflection prompts, enabling clients to evaluate impact and adjust. Momentum arises when people experience the benefits of their intentional choices.
We are grateful to community organisers, church groups, and cooperative societies that opened their spaces for pilot workshops. They provided candid feedback about what resonates and what feels theoretical. This collaboration keeps our methods practical.
Our partnerships include quarterly knowledge exchanges with civic organisations focused on youth empowerment and small business resilience. We continuously refine our tools based on their front-line experiences.
Convened early adopters in Accra to map pressing financial pains. Defined the concept of the “financial core” as the intersection of awareness, rhythm, and resilience.
Ran six-week budgeting routines with salaried professionals and micro-entrepreneurs. Developed highlight boxes and modular grids to simplify progress tracking.
Launched practical guides for building multi-tier reserves, aligned with local banking and mobile money options.
Introduced quarterly community pulse reports summarising observed trends and sharing recommended adjustments for our clients.
We aim to deepen our presence across Ghana by expanding resource materials, training facilitators, and incorporating more digital touchpoints for accountability. The mission remains constant: supporting intentional decisions that hold space for ambition and security.
